ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF YOUR GUIDE
Hi, I’m Lindsey, also known as Teacher Lou
I am a trained scientist and tutor who helps high school students go further in chemistry, biology, algebra, geometry, precalculus, and the Digital SAT. Before founding Delta Learning Space, I designed and taught SAT, GRE, and GNAT prep courses in Spain. I’ve since worked on-on-one with more than 50 students here in the United States.
I write this guide because most families that I talk to have the same questions; does my student need the SAT, what’s actually on it, and where do we start? This guide was made to answer all three questions.

Is the information up to date?
It’s current as of October 2026, including test dates, fees, and college testing policies. The guide will be updated as information or policies change.
