Graphing Quadratics: Free Interactive Tool for Vertex & Standard Form

Graphing a quadratic shouldn't feel like guessing where the parabola goes. This tool turns it into a series of decisions you can see: change something, and the graph changes with you.

There are three ways in, and you can start with any of them.

Match the curve. A target parabola appears and you rebuild it. Only one control unlocks at a time, so you find out what a, h, and k each do on their own before they start working together.

Your move. You decide what to hunt for — the vertex, the line of symmetry, the scale factor, a point of your choosing. The tool keeps track of how many parabolas still fit what you know, and shows you the ones you haven't ruled out yet. When only one is left, you've got it.

Work it through. Take a problem from start to finish in vertex form, or in standard form using the vertex formula or completing the square. Every answer gets checked, and when something's wrong the tool tells you what went wrong, not just that it did.
